The name, username or referral code of the person who referred you, along with records needed to confirm and apply referral rewards.

Messages, design preferences, reference links, supplied artwork, feedback, project decisions and other information needed to plan and provide your website.
Account and service information
Information associated with your domain, website administration, hosting, support requests and relevant third-party accounts.
Payment and business records
Invoices, payment status, transaction references and records required for accounting, tax, dispute resolution and service administration.
Technical information
Hosting and security providers may automatically record information such as IP address, browser type, device type, request times and error or security logs.
Please avoid sending medical information, identity documents or other sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary and has been requested.

Consent, where you have actively chosen to receive them. Made by Cooki does not currently operate a marketing mailing list.

4. Who your information may be shared with
Made by Cooki does not sell personal information. Information may be provided to carefully selected services where this is needed to operate the website or fulfil a commission.
- Web3Forms, when enabled, to process and deliver website enquiry forms.
- Website hosting and deployment providers, such as Vercel or another provider used to make the website available.
- Email and communication providers, including Discord where you choose to communicate through Discord.
- Database, storage and backup providers used for website content, client assets and service administration.
- Payment providers, such as Stripe or PayPal, where payment integration is used.
- Accountants, legal advisers or insurers where professional assistance is reasonably required.
- Public authorities where disclosure is legally required or necessary to protect legal rights.
Each provider receives only the information reasonably required for its role and handles information under its own terms and privacy arrangements.
5. International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where data protection law requires it, Made by Cooki will use providers offering an approved transfer mechanism or other appropriate safeguards.
6. How long information is retained
Enquiries that do not become projects
Normally retained for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted unless there is a clear reason to retain them longer.
Active client and project information
Retained while the website service is active and afterward for as long as reasonably needed to provide support, handle disputes or protect legal rights.
Invoices and financial records
Retained for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and legal obligations.
Referral records
Retained while rewards remain available or disputed, followed by a reasonable record-keeping period.
Technical and security logs
Retained according to the relevant hosting or security provider’s operational schedule, unless needed for an active security investigation.
Information may be deleted sooner when it is no longer needed, subject to legal and contractual record-keeping requirements.
7. Cookies and website analytics
Made by Cooki does not currently use optional advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies on this website.
The website and its hosting provider may still use essential technical storage or logs required for security, form operation, performance and delivery of the website.
If optional analytics, advertising or additional cookie-based services are introduced later, this policy and any required cookie controls will be updated before those services are used.
8. Keeping your information secure
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information, including access controls, private repositories, secure service providers, protected administration areas and limiting access to information according to need.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please contact Made by Cooki promptly if you believe information or an account connected to your website has been compromised.
